Moving house has been described as nearly as stressful as getting a divorce.
As a CLC accredited conveyancer, the focus of the business is our client’s satisfaction, reducing stress throughout the process.
MEET THE TEAM
Nancy Louise OliverHead of Legal
Nancy has worked in conveyancing for around 29 years and joined WYM Legal as a Property Lawyer in 2019. Her conveyancing career unknowingly followed in the footsteps of her grandad who worked for the HM Land Registry in Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London. She wasn’t aware of her grandad’s profession until she qualified as he passed when she was an infant, but she has always thought this was extraordinary!
Throughout her career, Nancy has always been regarded well in terms of her technical abilities when looking at land, buildings, and checking legal titles. She has been fortunate enough to be trained under highly regarded conveyancing solicitors and has worked for Top Legal 500 Firms as well as other great practices. When recently promoted by the business owners to Head of Legal, Nancy accepted the new challenge eagerly as she is passionate to pass on her experience and expertise to talented up and coming conveyancers. She has really enjoyed her career to date.
In her free time, Nancy enjoys gardening, decorating, and interior design. She also swims regularly and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys travelling, but is unlike most ordinary sightseers. Nancy likes to visit the tenure of properties, both in the UK and abroad, and the historical events of how land was held and divided.
Amanda ParsonsHead of Finance and Administration
Amanda joined WYM Legal in June 2023 and has around 20 years’ experience in accounting. As Head of Finance and Administration, Amanda oversees her team of support staff, assisting or advising them where necessary. She handles all the completions, getting funds out promptly and efficiently. This includes all bank transfers as well as checking completion statements and invoices. Amanda loves working together with her team, getting through all the completions then tidying up the last bits that need doing.
Amanda has mostly worked in the accounting sector except for a six-year break when she became a foster carer. Outside of work, she enjoys spending her time with friends and family. She loves the sunshine, and likes to enjoy the rays whilst reading her kindle either in the garden or away on holiday.
