Launched 16-years ago, MBE is a respected and established event that hosts informative seminars for mortgage practitioners and professionals covering forecasts and trends for the UK mortgages and lending markets with speakers talking about everything from equity release to bridging finance and secured loans.

MBE is a widely attended event, so it is a great networking opportunity – plus it’s free to attend! This is another CII CPD accredited event, so mortgage professionals can gain valuable points towards their professional development.

Estate agents who are still keen to learn

– What is covered?

The National Association of Estate Agents is on the road again. With the next event coming to Cambridge. The event covers legal changes in the property industry and marketing tips and strategies to make sure you’re up to scratch with property best practice.

– Why should I go?

NAEA conferences are the best place to refresh your industry knowledge and get a handle on all the noteworthy property trends, from anti-money laundering to social media. Agents can also gain five hours’ CPS towards the 12-hour CPD membership obligation.

– What is covered?

MIPIM UK 

– When is it?

18th – 29th  October 2017

Estate agents interested in the politics behind it all

– What is covered?

This year, MIPIM’s theme is UK Real Estate: The Next Chapter, with day one focusing on the macro, micro, political (with a spotlight on Brexit) and socio economics impacts on the property market, while the Thursday will focus on property investment trends.

2017 will also host a reverse Hackathon where a team of hackers have 48 hours to design an app as a solution to property industry problems. For the second year, there will also be the MIPM Startup Competition to find to most promising and innovative startup in Europe, with the first round taking place at the London event.

 – Why should I go?

“Shaping and connecting UK property”, MIPM is billed as the UK’s largest and “most insightful” property event for professionals. The conference is very in-depth in terms of content and is very well attended, making it the perfect networking opportunity: 16 of the top 20 UK agents, developers and key players from the UK property industry are set to attend.

Financial Services Expo

– When is it?

13th September 2017

 – Where is it?

Billingsgate, London

(London is the Flagship event, but there are also upcoming events in Coventry and Cardiff)

Mortgage intermediaries and financial advisors

– What is covered?

The seminars address the needs and opportunities for intermediaries in the ever-changing market with Financial Reporter and key trade body, the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries hosting sessions to cover everything from mortgages to specialist lending, including protection and technology.

– Why should I go?

The industry’s biggest trade show with over 80 exhibitors and over 1,200 visitors. It is highly rated as an informative experience, with 94% of last year’s delegates rating the FSE seminars as ‘excellent’ and 98% of intermediaries saying they would attend FSE again. You can also earn CPD hours for attending.

– What is covered?

Hosted by Mortgage Solutions, the series of events travels the UK in a week to bring business solutions to mortgage intermediaries across the country.  The programme is soon to be announced, but will likely cover compliance procedures and the effects of Brexit, as well as an exhibition for the chance to network with top lenders and providers

– Why should I go?

The carefully curated programme covers a range of current issues in an interactive format which encourages open debate and discussion. This is another event that is CPD accredited, so those working towards CII /PFS can gain some professional development credits.
